Is has been quite some time since the last time an article was written, and a lot has happened. The Knights finished up the 2011 season with a 2nd round playoff loss. Although that sounds rather depressing, lets look at the accomplishments of this team. The 2011 team finished 8-4 (the most wins by an Academy Park team in over 10 years), the Knights won 3 league games (the most in the pat 10 years), the Knights won their 1st round playoff game vs. Springfield 35-10 (the 1st playoff win in the history of the school), two members of the team were chosen to be on the 1st All-Delaware County football team, Jeremiah Lowery and Mark Doe (the most we've had on the 1st team at one time in over 10 years). The future is bright this graduating class and thhe future of the program is equally as bright. It won't be easy filling the shoes of the departed, but the next group of Knights is more than able to it, as long as they are willing to SACRIFICE, hit the WEIGHTS, WORK their butts off everyday, and FIGHT in every game to win, just as the class of 2011 did. Congratulations and good luck.

That's pretty impressive, but it's going to take more than that for the Knights to be successful this year. The link below will take you to the article:
